Brittany Grant

 Brittany Grant is a 21 years young lover of artistic movement and creation from BC, Canada. She lives to fuse together storytelling emotions and ideas through dance, circus, mixed media art, costuming, makeup, lighting and music. In the future, she hopes to bring together all these processes to create meaningful pieces of inspirational enjoyment to whomever wishes to follow her journey.

"Roads" short movement film:
-This idea was based off of the journey/road we are all having to take on together at the moment. In the beginning of learning about what we were about to experience dealing with COVID 19, we started reflecting on our lives (representing the mirrors). A lot of anxiety, depression, and stress came across our minds. Seeing how much we were going to have to change our daily living routines, to then moving into how have, or are still learning to cope and rebuild our new lives in the moment that we're living in. As we begin to explore self isolation, we find freedom in new experiences (dance sections). Each tangled movement or position, represents how most of us still feel frustrated with the lack of control of what is happening to us. In the end, the reversed sped up clip of the whole video, represents how once this is all over, we will look back and realize how in reality it wasn't that long of a period of time. We will never forget the lessons we learned in our COVID 19 experiences. We must move on with our lives, with more open mindedness towards what truly matters in life.
