 While the rest of the world went home to social distance. Suddenly it became blaringly obvious the injustess of leaving people on the street and without a home... That homeless people do matter... that when we DONT take care of our own, it does effect us. When the right people needed money... the govt didn’t need time to think about it... they gave everyone that had lost there jobs $2000 because if they had if givin the people $650 the amount the that homeless people are expected to live off and get off the street with there would have been and uproar... This is the DTES and it matters just us much as the west side
