‘I love open spaces - oceans and deserts - and am a strong believer in morphic resonance —> the theory that both built and natural environments retain memory. As a result, a lot of my work is inspired my unique landscapes, and takes place in situ, as a form of found art, where the art is quite simply having the eye to notice the extraordinary textures and colors that surround us. I can best describe what drives my work as the pursuit of ‘catching the light’, both literally and metaphorically. I believe that film is one of the greatest forms of art, as it combines all others, from dance to sound, movement and light; I treat each film frame as a painting and make a point to let myself be guided by the moment. Since I live primarily on the road, my tools are limited to a good camera, a couple of vintage lenses and my MacBook Pro, as well as a pool of amazing musicians and artist friends around the world. From this limitation has come the greatest freedom.'
