This is a small assemblage of a number of individual objects that I have collected over about a 50 year period.
In the last 4 years I have had to move my studio and all its contents twice, having just almost competed the second time... Consequently, right now, I have pallets full of collected objects across my floor that all have very specific meanings related to what they are, where they came from and what they mean to me.
I selected a few bits that seemed to work together... Each part of this “of the moment“ work is from roughly each decade of my life. As an example, the steel ball I found in an abandoned ball mill in the Yukon in 1970. The shell was from the south of France in 1994...
